With this mini-project, my goal was to work on my illustration skills and experiment with different styles. Since the illustrations were ultimately meant to be as friendly, inviting, and – ideally – child-friendly as possible, I played around with stylized proportions, colors, mood and light. My references included, among other things, the illustration style of Hearthstone and the visual style of the series Arcane, which I personally love. This journey of testing what level and version of stylization I like will hopefully continue until I actually found my favourite one.
